a persistence cough......

arghhhhhh.... when i thought i got rid of the sore throat, his cousin cough decide to come visit and stay a while....-.- voice is totally wrecked with all the sore throat and coughing.... argh... other than that, things have been great!!! God has really been watching over me even with the cough and sore throat. ^^

despite all the coughing and pain, i was able to do most things... except to sing. normally, it won't be that bad but i have 2 choir performances this week. one was yesterday, Fishtank's graduation recital, the other this coming saturday. but despite my badly wrecked throat, the hall was really easy to sing in and i think we pulled off a reasonable performance! went in and listened to the rest of the recital. well, my conclusion about modern composition: i guess i prefer normal music. ^^ i am still pretty much a newbie at this music stuff so i couldn't understand most of the 'de-constructionism' of modern music. -.- not that they are bad and i am cringing but rather, i just dun understand most of them. perhaps when i achieve a higher state of enlightenment. ^^ meanwhile, give me regular music anytime. recently, i have been listening to Morten Lauridsen. His music is beauuuuuuutiful! can just sit there listening to it over and over again... really tempted to buy the scores. hehe.

today was hectic at work. it's PAYDAY!! and i am in-charge of issuing pay. problem: i have no idea how to do that. luckily my boss was in the office and she guided me thru the process. The end result: 3 happy employees and 1 bz boss. ^^ feels really good banking in that check, even though, i am sure it will be gone in no time. argh. i need to learn how to manage my finances. Lord, grant me the wisdom to manage those resources.
