king kongs and us

went to watch king kong with my friend today. well... it really caused me to think alot... how king kong was captured and how he was brought forcefully out of his natural environment and later killed again... i dunno about the true story but, in this remake, an american producer tries to make things go his way, get alot of his friends and helper killed, in exchange for fame and money. king kong, 'someone' different, was brought out of his environment, captured for his uniqueness, and later killed... well.. there's the little love story that runs between it, but i felt more for the gorilla...-_- what can i say, he's cute!
